Tea with Winterly

The Queen lifted the teapot and, glancing from one child to the other, asked “Well, should I be mother?â€

“Yes please, your majesty,†her brother answered for both of them.
“Please,†the Queen told them. “Call me Winterly. That way we can be friends.â€

Winter is my favorite time of year. There’s nothing better than to curl up with a cup of tea and a good book while the snow falls outside.
Today’s the Winter Solstice, we’ve still a long way to go before spring.

Without Darjeelings and Assams, tea would be a much lesser expereince

Although Autumn is my favorite season, Winter is the next best. I love the short days and long nights, and if far enough from the city, the stars which at this time do look like a firmament.
So cool to get s copy.
If there is still a copy I’d love one to give to my daughters. I listened to the entire podcast and I loved it. And while I seriously love a cup of tea I just as completely hate snow and winter. If winter involved staying inside and curling up with a good book and a cup of tea I would be happy. However, since I have to drive, shovel and pay for oil to heat, I’d rather my tea in a more moderate climate. :)
