{"id":1042,"date":"2018-09-09T12:54:28","date_gmt":"2018-09-09T17:54:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tmcamp.com\/yesod\/?p=1042"},"modified":"2018-11-14T13:00:16","modified_gmt":"2018-11-14T18:00:16","slug":"pest-control","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tmcamp.com\/yesod\/pest-control\/","title":{"rendered":"pest control"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here\u2019s an e\u2011mail i sent to my wife this morning, slowly starting to put together a plan to exorcise the entity that currently occupying our&nbsp;house...<\/p>\n<p><em>What I know (or think I know) about the entity in our&nbsp;house...<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>It is not&nbsp;human.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It never was&nbsp;human.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It is a conscious, aware entity.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It is negative.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It is drawn to insecurity, anxiety, and&nbsp;fear.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It can induce insecurity, anxiety, and depression.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It is not affected or intimidated by&nbsp;anger.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It can vocalize. It can&nbsp;speak.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It can make itself physically visible.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It is small but likes to pretend to be larger than it&nbsp;is.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It can imitate or impersonate different forms (male, female, animal, shadow).<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It\u2019s actual form is small, hunched, twisted, emaciated, pale.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It wears a&nbsp;mask.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It\u2019s real face is humanoid but damaged, skinned with exposed flesh, eye sockets, and&nbsp;teeth.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It can make physical noise in the environment.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It can have physical contact with people.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>It can have physical interaction with objects.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It does not appear to be related to other phenomena or spirits in the&nbsp;house.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It does not have any apparent connection or claim on our house or&nbsp;land.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It does not have an apparent connection or claim to anyone currently living in the&nbsp;house.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It appears to have full run of the house and is not limited or confined to particular rooms or&nbsp;areas.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It does not want us to leave the house. It is not trying to drive us&nbsp;away.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It goes inactive for periods of&nbsp;time.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It increases activity when there are significant shifts in the weather or seasons.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It is more active at&nbsp;night.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It can manifest in or affect dreams, particularly during the hypnagogic stage.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It manifests most often in the bedrooms, presumably because that\u2019s when people are alone or vulnerable.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It does not appear to target animals or&nbsp;pets.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It tends to avoid attacks or activity when multiple people are present.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It attacks individuals when they are&nbsp;alone.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It attacks women more than&nbsp;men.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Now, a couple of assumptions of which I am fairly confident\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>It is not particularly strong.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It avoids direct confrontation or interaction.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It prefers indirect or surprise attacks.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It is not&nbsp;old.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It does not have a&nbsp;name.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It feeds on negativity, sadness, mental instability, or suffering.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It most likely is a manifestation generated by the grief, guilt, and suffering that occurred after Chris and Kelly\u2019s [the previous owners] baby&nbsp;died.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">It did not cause the death of their&nbsp;baby.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>(I suppose it is possible that it existed before Chris and Kelly, and it just attached itself and fed off of their misfortune.
